What is (was) the vallist?

It ws a bulletin (about the important events in my life), a column (about the topics that I find interesting), and an arena (for my fledgeling literary ambitions).

In practice, it is a mailing list: a series of messages that are written for a special group of people (my friends). The traffic on this list is extremely low, and the issues are written and sent without any regularity (see why).

At the end of 2003 (after a couple of years of silence), the Vallist was replaced for most purposes by my Weblog/Wiki, and by personal e-mail messages when more proper. My friends deserve nothing less.
